Grandma always said: "What took three hours to cook, ought not be eaten in just 2 minutes!"

Grandma AKA Virginia "Mae" Fichera passed away on January 27th 2004, she would have turned 87 on March 11th. She leaves us many memories and wonderful recipes. Her recipes will be recorded for all that wish to try them here.

Grandma always made her famous "garbage soup" as her many grandchildren have lovingly called it. Actually, it is her version of an "Italian Wedding Soup". Since this was her signature soup and offered at most family gatherings.
